February 19, 2023, the Miss Black Mississippi USA Pageant hit a historic moment, the crowning of Miss Black University and Miss Black University Teen. The Miss Black University and Miss Black University Teen was the first official collegiate preliminary competition on the University of Mississippi campus. Thanks to the National Pan-Hallenic Council and the University of Mississippi, 12 young women competed for the esteemed title. The competition concluded with the crowning of Kai Jefferys, Miss Black University Teen, and Ahlaeya Judon, Miss Black University. We, the Miss Black Mississippi USA Pageant look forward to other Universities joining us in the 2025 competition and future competitions to come.
The 2023 Miss Black Mississippi USA Queens attended the competition and crowned their new sister Queens. Join us on September 4, 2023, to find out who will win the 2024 Miss Black Mississippi USA State Title.
